Moorea Biocode Project

The Moorea Biocode Project is based out of UC Berkeley Gump Research Station on the island of Moorea in Tahiti. It is a first comprehensive inventory of all non-microbial life in a complex tropical ecosystem creating a library of genetic markers for every species of animal, plant and fungus on the island. I interned there as a resident science illustrator on the island of Moorea.
